Welcome to second grade! My name is Jean Everman and this is my ninth year teaching at St. Charles Borromeo School. I am excited to be teaching second grade and to be part of the faculty. I taught first grade at Our Lady of Peace School for nine years. For over 20 years, I taught preschool at Studio City Recreation Center and coached the Saint Francis de Sales Swim Team. I received my Preliminary Teaching Credential from California State University at Northridge in June 2005. Then in June 2008, I received my Clear Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from Loyola Marymount University. Later, I received my Masters Degree in Education with a Specialization in Instructional Leadership from Mount Saint Mary's College in May 2010.
This will be an exciting year as we prepare to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion. I look forward to getting to know your children and to an exciting and rewarding year with them. It is my goal to help your child develop fully in a climate of love, trust and responsibility.
