Good afternoon 4th grade parents, 

I will be posting students' assignments here as well as gradelink. Gradelink was experiencing difficulties delivering bulk emails. I will be posting assignments the day before from this point on. I apologize for the inconvinience. Please note that students have a week to complete assigments, please refer to due date.

Spanish Class

On our last Zoom we will have a scavenger hunt type of game. Choose one worksheet from the two attachments.
Go around your house or yard and see how many things you could find that are the shape or color and write them in Spanish inside the worksheet (3-5 things).
Use your Spanish workbook to spell the words correctly.
Please submit on Seesaw. I will announce the winners the same week.
Missed you lots and look forward to seeing you back at school in August.

Spanish System B Workbook
 
Please continue with Spanish Workbook Leccion 17-18 pgs.86 & 87. Use vocabulary on pg 82 to help you answer pg. 86. Write both names on the line.
On page 87 translate the words in the boxes that describe the animals or person.
Color the animals on both pages and make them their natural color, including the zoo keeper.
 
Don't do the extra vocabulary at the bottom of pg. 87.
 
Spanish work is assigned once a week and due on the following week,see due dates.

Practice your Spanish with Rock A lingua, they are now recorded Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. No worksheets are assigned they are optional.

Continue to watch RockAlingua this week and on the Easter break. The host didn't announce the worksheet yet for today's lesson but I know he will at the beginning of the show. 
Have students practice the songs and watch the videos from the live program. Also have them try the other videos and  games if they are marked as "free".

 Forward this email or this link to your students so they can access next week's classes (all classes will be accessible with that same link) 

Ask your students to watch the following videos at least 3 times each (preferably more!) before class. This way they will be prepared and will get the most out of the classes. Videos kids needs to watch: "números y colores" "el camaleón" "¿cómo te llamas?" "direcciones"  and alrededor 

Classes are all Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 10:00 am PT (1:00 pm ET, 6:00 pm UK) classes will be about 30 minutes long so don't be late ;)  Feel free to share the info about the classes with anyone you want!

We have started creating videos to help our younger learners. Check out  this new video where César (Rockalingua's song writer) is singing with our new friends Kristi and Paquito! We hope you like it! We will have a new video singing with Paquito tomorrow!

Good News!!! St Charles school has been granted free access to Rock A Lingua. Click on the link below for free access to live lessons and to view times/ days.
Practice your Spanish on Rock A Lingua. Students remember to practice the verbal part of the lesson aloud.

Good Morning 4to Grade Parents,

Spanish class for 4th grade meets every Wednesday once a week. Every Wednesday I will post the lessons for that week.
This week we will start Lección 16 ¿Qué aprendemos en la escuela? on page 77 . Students are to study the vocabulary on this page.
Have them work on pages 78-79 this week. Save all assignments for the return of school.
