8th Grade Spanish-Ms. Klein 2022 / 2023 (St. Charles Borromeo School)

This year, the 8th Grade class is representing St. Charles School and creating ofrendas & an altar at the San Fernando Mission Cemetery in honor of the memory of the 21 victims (19 students, 2 teachers) who lost their lives in the Robb Elementary School shooting in Uvalde, TX (May 24, 2022)
Please take a look at the photo included in this post of the victims. You are expected to come class on Wednesday with an attitude of honor, respect, and reverence for the deceased, and a positive spirit of focus, creativity, and collaboration while we work on the project.
We began work in Spanish class on Wednesday, Oct. 19.
Each student is expected to participate and will be evaluated on preparation, team effort, and contribution.
We need decorative gift tissue paper flowers of different colors and sizes, especially orange. Please make some if you can. Refer to the tutorial at bottom.

You were required to bring a regular shoebox last Wednesday 10/19 - NO boot size - about the size of the ofrenda example on display in the Spanish classroom (and photos included in this post). This was the main component of your project.

A paper copy of this document will be given to the student in class to take home.

If the student is absent that day, the document is attached here as as well in Gradelink & can be printed out.

Parent or Guardian: Please read carefully, sign & date.

Student turns in the signed document on Monday 9/12 for 20 homework points.
