TEST CORRECTIONS (The Outsiders):
If you are unhappy with your quiz score, you may complete quiz corrections.
Select the question you got wrong, write the question, write the answer you originally chose, write the correct answer, and three to five sentences on why that answer is correct.
EXAMPLE:
3. According to Ponyboy, tough and tuff mean the same thing.
I chose true.
This is false because tough means you are strong. Tuff means you are cool. These two words have different meanings and therefore the answer is false.
THIS IS OPTIONAL BUT IT MUST BE HANDWRITTEN

In Chapter 7 of The Outsiders, we get a very detailed description of what the town's newspaper featured following the church fire. Your task is to reread the account of the rescue from the burning church in Chapter 6 and all of the newspaper details in Chapter 7 and then create your own newspaper.
You must use facts and details from the story, but if the facts cannot be found in the story, you can use your imagination to fill in the details. As a newspaper reporter, you will be talking in the third person point of view. This means you will only tell what is happening and you will not offer your opinions on the event.
Remember, a newspaper article will include the answers to the following questions:
- Who did it?
- What happened?
- When did it happen?
- Where did it happen?
- Why did it happen?
- How did it happen?
You must include:
- The title of the newspaper
- The date the paper was printed
- A headline (the title of the article, must catch your eye and sum up the story)
- A byline (this tells you who wrote the article and sometimes includes the journalist's specialty)
- A picture of the event
- 3 supporting quotations from characters (actual or imaginary)
- Writing in an inverted pyramid structure
