Literature - read First Day Jitters; discussed the twist at the end of the story and author's word choices
Grammar - Discuss what your "see " in the mentor sentnece (parts of speech, type of sentence, word usage); get parent initial in box at top of page after sharing what they remember from class.
Mathematics - changed data from "How many siblings do you have?" graph into tallies; labeled bar graph; color graph to correspond to tally data (remember x-axis and y-axis)
 
Supplies: both spirals and both notebooks have been labeled (Math, Lang. Arts), and both folders have been labeled
          folder 1: Homework/Keep at Home; inside: left side - HOMEWORK, right side -KEEP AT HOME; will travel back and forth from school and home every day
          folder 2: W.I.P (Work In Progress) will stay at school

Label the 2 sides of your Homework/Keep at Home Folder - Left side = HOMEWORK, right side = KEEP AT HOME (to be emptied on Fridays)
 
All supplies needed for daily use should fit into ONE container (a Zip-loc baggie or a plastic container no larger than a plastic shoe box)
