Star Testing this week. Tuesday students will take the Star Reading Test and Thursday we will take the Star Math Test. We will start immediately after the 8:00 am bell rings. Field Trip to the Natural History Museum - We will be leaving immediately after the school bell rings at 8:00 am and after I take attendance. Please don't be late to school because we will not be able to wait for you. Bring a sack lunch and a drink in a disposable container. No lunch boxes, no reusable water bottles, or plastic containers. Our lunch bags will remain on the bus until it is time to eat. Wear your school uniform. If you are bringing money to shop in the gift store, please have a safe place to keep your money (wallet, coin purse, etc. that you can put in your pocket).

Write 5 sentences using any five Spelling words. Please underline the words that you use. Your sentences should be eight words or longer. Remember to begin each sentence with a capital letter and end with a punctuation mark. Write clear, legible sentences.
Review Studies Weekly: Welcome to Second Grade for a test on Thursday.
Read 15 minutes and record your reading on your Reading Log.
