Classwork

We took notes on Lesson 38 and completed the Lesson Practice problems in our notebook.  We were given time to work on our homework for a few minutes before heading to the library.

We cut up paper manipulatives to represent thirds, fifths, and eighths in fraction form, decimal form, and percent form, and solved various problems individually and as a group.  We completed questions 1-20 in our math notebook.

We reviewed Lesson 30 Fractions and Percents (Using Images) and took notes.  We completed our review for our next unit test on Lessons 1-30, which is tomorrow, Friday, November 3rd.

We reviewed Lesson 19 Division again and then complete Partner Problems.  Students were paired up with a partner and worked on Lesson 19 Mixed Practice Problem Set problem by problem as a team (partnership).  We were able to complete roughly 15-17 problems and corrected errors along the way and helped each other.

On loose leaf paper, students are to complete the odd numbered problems in Lesson One Mixed Practice Problem Set.  When finished, students then read Lesson Two and take notes in their five-subject spiral notebook.  Both are due Wednesday, August 30th.
