Announcements Assignments

If your child has any incomplete assignments due to excused or unexcused absences, a Missing Assignment Report was sent home in the blue SCBS communication folder today.  Please review with your child and all missing work is due ASAP.

Classwork project

We are researching a living or deceased person who has made major contributions to society and/or the world at large.  Notable figures include: Pope Francis, The Wright Brothers, John F. Kennedy, Rosa Parks, Leonardo de Vinci, and more.  Students will research in class and then complete a fact sheet for their famous person.  Project will be completed by Friday.

 

Elements to include: date of birth, date of death, what were the major contribution(s), and interesting facts.

Photos from our Community Water Conservation Plan, the Sacramentals we created, and the Explorer projects.  Students did a great job on all three projects.

Please check your child's blue St. Charles folder each night for returned homework and tests, as well as important papers from school.  Math tests are being sent home tonight for parent signature.  Math tutoring is Tuesday's and Thursday's from 7:15 to 7:45 am in the classroom for any student struggling with math concepts.  At math tutoring we correct homework issues, do advanced reviews of concepts, and prepare for future tests.

Light homework this week, especially tonight, to give students extra time to complete missing or late work.  All late and missing work is due by tomorrow, end of day.

I sent quite a few papers home in their blue folder from the last couple of weeks.  More will be coming home tomorrow and Wednesday.  Please check your child's blue folder each night for returned homework and tests and important papers and announcements.

Please send seeds to school in plastic bags with your child's name written next to the type of seeds.  We will begin germinating our seeds tomorrow and Monday!
