Tonight we are finishing the typing of our fairy tale into a Google Doc, and then we are checking the following:
- using spell check and grammarly at home on a pc or laptop to fix any errors
- checking formatting
- do we have enough compound sentences? Any similes? Metaphors? Did I use personification?
- is there enough magic or mysticism in my story?
- we are then sharing the doc with me (the teacher) from home

We spent a fair amount of class time finishing our final rewrites of our rough draft. The final draft will be typed on a Google Doc using the following formatting:
- Name, date, Fairy Tale final draft
- Title of story
- Times New Roman 12
- Double spaced and left justified
- indent paragraphs
- no dialogue or quotations
- spelling, punctuation and grammar count
Students are encouraged to use spell check and auto fill to upgrade their stories and make corrections. Final edits are tomorrow and then we print.
