7th Religion Assignments

Turn in your Doc or Slides of the 6 essential questions your group came up with here. Make sure to write who you worked with and submit by the end of the day.

Chapter 10 Review. Complete pgs 167-168 in Religion textbook. Notate, next to each answers, the page number that you would find the answer to these questions. (We’ve used this study technique before) Due by end of day Tuesday in Google Classroom. Please make sure to have complete answers and when taking pictures, that pictures are CLEAR. If you are having issues uploading this to Google Classroom, feel free to complete on a Google Doc and link that Doc.

Read/reread pages 164-165 in your Religion book and do the activities on those pages. Take a picture of it (please make sure that the picture is clear and takes up whole photo) and turn in here via Google Classroom

Read/reread pages 162-163 in your Religion book and do the activity on pg. 163. Take a picture of it (please make sure that the picture is clear and takes up whole photo) and turn in here via Google Classroom

Please read Chapter 10 and write Cornell notes. These may be done by hand or digitally. If you do them digitally, please make sure that you use the Cornell Notes Template provided (erase text where appropriate and type in your own) and that it is sized 12, double spaced, Times New Roman and at least 1 page. Handwritten must also be a page long or more, taken a photo of, and linked in Google Classroom by Tuesday evening at the latest.

In order to complete this project, you must use your knowledge of Holy Week as well as use the details within pages 348-349 in your Religion book. This assignment will require that you use the website storyboardthat.com (there are links and specific instructions in the handout). 3 panels of the Triduum or 6 panels of Palm Sunday AND the Triduum. The last slide of the assignment is where you put all work. Explain your storyboards and the significance of the days and what they are.

The Prayer of St. Francis activity. Using at least 10 images inspired by the lines in the prayer, create a collage AROUND the prayer. Answer the question on the second slide in paragraph form. This is due by end of day Tuesday. Be creative!!!

Read/reread pages 150-151 in your Religion book and do the activity on pg. 151. Take a picture of it (please make sure that the picture is clear and takes up whole photo) and turn in here via Google Classroom

After rereading p.149 in the Religion book, take a piece of lined or white computer paper and fold into 4ths. In each box, label a Virtue (Temperance, Prudence, Fortitude, Justice) and define it. In its box, create an illustration (and color it if you have things to color with) to convey the meaning of that virtue. Due by end of day in Google Classroom. See attached example.
