Good afternoon 2nd grade parents, 

I will be posting students' assignments here as well as on Gradelink. Gradelink was experiencing difficulties delivering bulk emails. I will be posting assignments the day before from this point on. I apologize for the inconvinience. Please note that students have a week to complete assigments, please refer to due date.

Spanish Class

On our last Zoom we will have a scavenger hunt type of game. Choose one worksheet from the two attachments.
Go around your house or yard and see how many things you could find that are the shape or color and write them in Spanish inside the worksheet (3-5 things).
Use your Spanish workbook to spell the words correctly.
Please submit on Seesaw. I will announce the winners the same week.
I've miss you a lot and look forward to seeing you back at school in August.

Continue to watch the free pre-recorded RockAlingua classes. I have a new Scanner app that makes it easier to send you the
worksheets for RockAlingua, I will continue to send them to you. Please do not pay the fee, songs and videos are always free.
Students are to do two of the 5 worksheets and save them and return them using Seesaw app as soon as it is set up by your homeroom teacher.

We hope everyone is doing ok! Next week we will be working about feelings and Wh- questions. Have your students/kids watch the following videos at least 3 times (preferible more) so they are prepared and can get the most out of the classes "Estoy contento" "¿Adónde vas?"  "Rutina comienzo de clase" "Un paso a la derecha"

As you may already know, classes are now being recorded and uploaded to our site every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday (this is the direct link to the classes so you can share it with your students)

Continue to watch RockAlingua this week and on the Easter break. The host didn't announce the worksheet yet for today's lesson but I know he will at the beginning of the show. 
Have students practice the songs and watch the videos from the live program. Also have them try the other videos and  games if they are marked as "free".

Practice your Spanish on Rock A Lingua. Students remember to practice the verbal part of the lesson aloud.
