We started reading our new novel in class today, The Secret Battle of Evan Pao, and started our story tracking in our notebooks.  We reread Chapter 1 today (silently), and then started reading Ch. 2.
 
Homework
While we read The Secret Battle of Evan Pao in class, students will read three stories this week at home.  Tonight we are reading "Shipped Out," and completing our sentences on page 251 of the Your Turn Workbook (full compound sentences).

We took our Quizziz for last night story, "Shipped Out," and then we read more of Chapter 2 from The Secret Battle of Evan Pao.

We are reading "The Unbreakable Code" and completing Your Turn Workbook pages 253-255.  We will have a Quizziz on tonight's story tomorrow morning, just like we did today for last night's story read at home.
