  • Homework for the Week of August 25th

    Spelling Words: bats, ran, has, grab, sat, as, flat, last, can, plan - Sight  Words: said, would - Star Words: grandma, grandpa

    Monday
    Complete all papers in your Homework folder. Math Lesson 17.1
    Write the Spelling Words, Review Words, and Star Words two times.
    Read 15 minutes and record your reading on your Reading Log. 
     
    Tuesday
    Complete all papers in your Homework folder. Math Lesson 17.2
    Complete the Spelling paper.
    Read 15 minutes and record your reading on your Reading Log. 
     
    Wednesday.
    Complete all papers in your Homework folder. Math Lesson 17.3
    Write 5 sentences using any five Spelling words. Please underline the words that you use. Your sentences should be eight words or longer. Remember to begin each sentence with a capital letter and end with a punctuation mark. Write clear, legible sentences.
    Read 15 minutes and record your reading on your Reading Log.
     
    Thursday
    Complete all papers in your Homework folder. Math Lesson 17.4
    Study the Spelling words for a test on Friday.
    Complete Religion Chapter 1 Review p.36. Religion Chapter 1 Test on Friday.
    Read 15 minutes and record your reading on your Reading Log.
     
    Notes to Parents:

    Homework assignments are due the following day with the exception of the Reading Log. Reading Logs are due on Friday or the following Monday to receive full credit. This week your child's Reading Log should show 60 minutes of reading. Please check your child's homework every night for accuracy and completeness. Also, please staple all paper together and sign on the top-right corner that you checked your child's homework.  A student's grade may be lowered for late homework, Reading Logs, and incomplete or inaccurate work,
