Halloween Carnival

Regarding Halloween costumes:

Our policies regarding Halloween costumes:

  • Come to school dressed in your costume.

  • Accessories like hats and props are allowed but weapons (or items that can be used as a weapon) of any kind are not allowed.

  • Masks may only be worn during the parade.

  • Costumes must be age-appropriate (no revealing outfits); it may not be demeaning to any person or group.

Regarding the Halloween Carnival:

We will have a NOON DISMISSAL on Halloween, Monday, October 31.  Please be reminded that all students will report back to their classrooms at the conclusion of the Halloween Carnival.

Due to the amount of cleanup that needs to take place following the conclusion of the Halloween Carnival, WE WILL NOT HAVE A CARLINE PICKUP on Monday at noon.  Instead, ALL  PARENTS WILL NEED TO WALK TO THE CLASSROOMS to pick up their children.

The only cars allowed on the parking will be those parents who plan on staying for THE ENTIRE DURATION OF THE HALLOWEEN CARNIVAL.  These parents are allowed to park on the lot prior to the start of school and you will not be able to leave until noon.  For safety reasons, the gates need to be locked during the school day and no cars will be allowed to leave until noon.  IF YOU NEED TO LEAVE EARLY FOR ANY REASON, PLEASE PARK ON THE STREET OR IN THE SERVICE CENTER PARKING LOT.

If you have any further questions or concerns regarding Halloween, please call the school office at (818) 508-5359.
