Library

The St. Charles School library serves to instill a love of reading. The library offers students from TK to 8th grade access to a wide range of resources. Resources are selected to support and enrich the curriculum. Our library holds over 8,000 books in our online catalog.

Students visit once a week with their class to check out books. The library is a welcoming space for students. There is weekly story time reading for grades TK through 2^nd.

Checkout Policy

How many books can my child check out at a time?

Grade	TK	1 book
Grade	Kinder	1 books
Grade	1-5	1 books
Grade	6-8	2 books

When are books due?

Students may have books for two weeks. They also may be renewed if needed.

What happens if a book is overdue?

A student must return his/her overdue book before checking out another one.

What happens if the book is lost or damaged?

If a book is lost, you may either replace the book with an identical copy or may pay for the book and we will order a replacement copy.

Volunteers

Parents help in many different ways at the library, from shelving books, working the circulation desk, reading to the children at story time, helping with the new book processing and volunteering at our September and January Book Fairs.
