Welcome!

My name is Ileana Wade and I am so happy to be the Middle School ELA teacher for the coming year at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School.

 

I returned to St. Charles last year after a long career at St. Ignatius of Loyola, and my first year back was wonderful thanks to the fabulous students, supportive parents, and great co-workers. 

 

I have been part of the St. Charles community for over 35 years as a music minister and truly feel that St. Charles is home.

 

I hold both my Bachelor's and Master's in Education from Loyola Marymount University and I'm excited to share my passion for reading with students.

I am happy to respond to student/parent messages as soon as possible, however, my 'office hours' for responding are between 8am and 8pm. Please note that messages that come after those hours may not receive a response until the next day.

 

I hope to see you soon at school or at Mass. I'm usually up in the choir loft singing for the 9:30, 11am and 12:30pm Masses throughout the school year, and the 11am and 12:30pm during the summer months. Please wave and say hi!
