3rd Grade!

Hi Third Grade Families,

Welcome to the 2025-2026 School year! This is my 15th year here at St. Charles and I am looking forward to another excellent year! I am originally from New York and moved here in 2010 after finishing my Master's Degree in New York in Special Education. I have my undergraduate degree in Childhood Education. I look forward to meeting everyone and having a wonderful school year!

Dear third grade families, 

     I hope everyone had a great long weekend! Tomorrow's Ash Wednesday Mass will be at 11:00. Please don't forget that book reports are due this Friday, February 20th. Looking ahead at our last two book reports for the year. The March book report will be on a fiction chapter book of choice and April will be on any chapter book of choice. 

     This Friday we will have our weekly spelling test on words with suffixes, and a reading comprehension test. 

     A new Social Studies Newspaper will be sent home next week, this week we will be spending time working on a project in class for Black History Month and not on the US weekly newspaper.

     The end of the second trimester is next Friday, 2/27. Report cards will be sent home the following week.
