3rd Grade!

Hi Third Grade Families,

Welcome to the 2025-2026 School year! This is my 15th year here at St. Charles and I am looking forward to another excellent year! I am originally from New York and moved here in 2010 after finishing my Master's Degree in New York in Special Education. I have my undergraduate degree in Childhood Education. I look forward to meeting everyone and having a wonderful school year!

News - Week of 4/27/26

 Dear third grade families, 

     I hope everyone had a great weekend! Progress reports were sent home on Friday, please sign and return them as soon as possible. We will be taking our STAR tests next week, please see the schedule in the upcoming dates section below. Please remember that the navy blue SCB sweatshirts can not be worn in Mass on Wednesday, every other day they are fine.

     On Friday, 5/1 we will have our weekly spelling test on two syllable words, a Relgion test on chapter 9 (pgs. 143-152) we will complete the chapter review on Tuesday in class please use this to study, and a reading comprehension test. 

     Our Oratorical Fair will take place on Wednesday, May 27th at 8:10 am. Please begin drafting the 7 sentences at home. Beginning the week of May 11th, I will ask the students to bring in a copy of their sentences to begin practicing in class and we will do a few practices in the auditorium.
