6th grade science syllabus 2024-25

Sixth grade science will focus on Earth Science. The general areas of study will cover heat and energy, natural and energy resources, the moon, plate tectonics, and the water cycle. Most of the information will be found in the science textbook; some will be from worksheets, projects, and notes.  I will post needed materials to enhance student learning on Google Classroom.

Wish List for Middle School Science

Here are some items needed for upcoming activities: 
 
  • 1 one gallon white vinegar
  • 3-5 boxes of exam glove (basic stretch vinyl) 
  • 1 one gallon white liquid glue
 
 
 
 

Science Fair Letter and Timeline

Science Fair Project are independent assignments requiring student or students to design and investigate science topics using the scientific methods. The following attachments are guidelines for students to use to create a project on a 3 ft by 4 ft poster board.
